Trapped

I feel so trapped. Stuck in a job because I can’t get another, trapped in a relationship where he loves me but doesn’t believe in marriage. Trapped by my thoughts. Trapped by my fears. Trapped by the helplessness of not being able to soothe my nieces as they cry for their daddy who left without saying goodbye. All he is is a phantom on the phone.

Trapped by not knowing what is coming next. Trapped by insecurity. Trapped by guilt. Trapped by health issues. Trapped by lies.

I am trapped and I don’t know how to get free.
